About

Hi, my name is Caroline Walsh

A few words about me

I am a leadership and organizational development researcher, specializing in ethical leadership practices.

I am interested in supporting mission-driven organizations in retaining talent, increasing integrity and security, and reaching beyond their goals by cultivating an environment with human-centered, ethical leadership.

Did you know?

Did you know that ethical leadership facilitates:

– Internal optimism (De Hoogh & Den Hartog, 2008)

– Group cohesion (Zheng et al., 2015)

– Commitment (Hassan et al., 2014)

– Shared organizational identity (O’Keefe et al., 2019)

Organization members who are exposed to “bad leadership” are less likely to problem solve nor engage in improvement-oriented behaviors and tend to have high levels of withdrawal behavior (Boudrias et al., 2021).

This is

What I do

I am a researcher, coach, and strategic thinker. I create plans to assess organizational needs, analyze and deliver findings, and address the root of the issue.

Partnership

I collaborate with the "leaders" and "followers" of organizations to identify what dynamics need attention. I partner with all levels, conduct interviews, brief surveys, and get to know what is really going on.

I develop a way forward based on the organization's culture and goals. I am experienced in addressing where an organization may need attention to accountability and where it is primed for further, higher levels of development.
